Mark A. Glassman

Mark Glassman is a personal injury and medical malpractice attorney admitted to practice law in all Florida state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. As a personal injury attorney in Florida, Mr. Glassman has served as an expert witness in numerous legal matters and has acted as an inventory attorney on behalf of The Florida Bar. Mark serves as a member of the American Bar Association and is active in a number of other national and state organizations.

Though Mr. Glassman was born in New York City in 1969, he spent his youth in South Florida. He attended North Miami Beach Senior High School, from which he graduated in 1987. His undergraduate studies brought him to the University of Florida, where he earned his B.A. in political science in 1990. Mr. Glassman went on to attend Florida State University College of Law, where he was involved in a great deal of activities. Throughout school, Mark worked as a law clerk for several different professional boards at the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and he served for a while as an intern for Florida's Lieutenant Governor, Buddy McKay. On campus, Mark served as an Editor on the FSU Journal of Transnational Law and was the advisor to FSU’s Student Court.

Upon graduation from law school in 1994, Mark spent several years serving well-known insurance defense firms in the West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale areas. During this time, he defended physicians, hospitals, and insurance companies against medical malpractice and personal injury claims. In 1999, Mark left the security of a large firm to start his own private practice, The Law Office of Mark A. Glassman, P.A.

Since 1999, Mr. Glassman has been exclusively dedicated to the representation of individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of another. In 2005, Mark joined Lisa Levine in her practice in Weston, Florida; together, they formed Levine & Glassman, P.A.

Mark is married with two children, and takes prides in being a very involved husband and father. He enjoys playing basketball friends and coaching his son’s soccer team. Mark’s wife, Lori, is a school psychologist and the former President of the Florida Association of School Psychologists.
